First Grade

First Grade at De Chantal is a year of tremendous academic and social growth for each child. Their daily academic lessons create a strong foundation in all Language Arts, Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary development both orally and in the written word. Each child masters basic Mathematics concepts from teacher-led lessons and daily practice with patterns, symbols, objects, and formulas.

Spiritual Growth is enhanced through daily lessons and a deeper understanding of the Liturgical Year in as part of the Christian belief.
