Kindergarten is a place where children can explore new things about their faith and the world! Read below to see what we will learn each week.
Our Week at a Glance
Religion: We will read parables from the Bible such as The Lost Sheep, The Good Samaratin and The Mustard Seed.
Reading: We will continue to learn about the letter Z! We will review our memory words, phonics and decoding. At the end of the week, we will have a Superkids celebration to close out the year!
Math: We will continue to dive into Chapter 11 on Measurement. This week we will focus on weight, how much things hold and ordering by capacity.
Language Arts: We will continue writing words and letters using our with D'Nealian handwriting. We will practice using our whiteboards to form our sentences and words. We will work in small groups to strengthen our reading, math and writing skills.
Science/ Social Studies: We will continue to learn about chicks and plants. We will have the chance to hold and play with our class chicks! We will do an Eric Carle flower painting.
