I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful Easter break. With Easter vacation over with, we have a very busy month of April in the 4^th grade.

We will be going on our field trip to Medieval Times on April 22^nd. Students will have a medieval feast while they are watching the presentation & then the performance. In case you didn’t know, jousting is the official state sport of Maryland. That should be an exciting trip. Huzzah!

April is also the month that we our reading our novel Sarah, Plain and Tall. We will begin this later on this month.

In math we are working on decimals. We will then move on to measurement.

In science we are learning about weather. Our due date for our weather report is Monday, May 10^th.

In Grammar we are working on adjectives and articles.

In Religion we are learning about the Beatitudes.

Time sure flies when you are as busy as the 4^th grade is!
